We began our trip with a short bus ride around the Nichada Estate. Some children were familiar with the area and could spot their homes as well as their friends’ homes.
We stopped at Nichada Lake to take in the lush green and leafy view around us. What could be more calming and tranquil than a spot of fresh air and nature. The lake was a serene environment for our children to experience.
They were able to appreciate the soft, cool breeze blowing gently off the water and see the rather large, hungry fish swimming close to the surface hoping for a morsel of food. Children really enjoyed feeding some bread to these greedy fellows!
