Primary and Junior High School visit Bangkok museums

The Primary and Junior High School students enjoyed a field trip to the National Science, Natural History, and Geological Museum on January 25, 2018. All the students were enthralled with each of the museum’s exhibits, especially the interactive exhibits. The Junior High students were able to follow up areas of scientific interest they had recently studied and produced a poster display of their museum experience.

The Upper Primary students had many questions regarding the exhibits and returned with a greater understanding and appreciation for dinosaurs, electricity, evolution, forces, geology, insects, mathematics, thermodynamics — and much, much more.

The activity center just above the first floor afforded the opportunity for Lower Primary students to use their physical skills in play. Their enjoyment of the trip was captured in pictures and writing that were made into their own books about the field trip. Definitely, we would all want to visit the museums again!

Visit from Dr. Aldrin Poblete of Mahidol International Dental School

The Primary and Junior High School went to Mueang Boran the Ancient City on June 1, 2017. We rode in a tram as the guide explained the cultural and historical facts about the replicas of important landmarks in Thailand. This was a great visual supplement to our social studies unit. Due to time restraints, students were dropped off at three points to visit and take photographs. They were excited to visit replicas of Sanphet Prasat Palace from Ayutthaya, climb a hill with many steps to Prasat Phra Wihan from Si Sa Ket, and get food at the floating market. All the students had wonderful comments about the field trip. It was thoroughly enjoyed by all!
