"Thank You" (Text of speech by Director, Rose Marie Wanchupela, on Opening Day of the New Campus)

WHAT A MAGNIFICENT DAY THIS IS!

Welcome, welcome, welcome!

There are so many who have made this day happen—so many who have turned a dream and a possibility, "maybes" and "what ifs" into reality we don 't know where to start saying "thank you."

First, an enormous "thank you" to all of you here today to share in this joyous moment, and an equally sincere "thank you" to those who have contributed so much but could not join us for this historic celebration.

Literally hundreds if not thousands have worked behind the scenes to bring this project to fruition and, although we don 't know them all, we are so very grateful.

Our honored guest, Air Chief Marshal Amarit Jaryaphun, as chairman of the Board of Executive Directors of the Nichada Thani Group of Companies, is the catalyst who brought all our ideas, our dreams—and yes, our realities, too—into one amazing, cohesive, do-able accomplishment. And working closely with the Nichada planners and crews has been our invaluable Deputy Director, Wanchai Chaiyasit, who also serves as our admissions officer and counselor/psychologist.

Rose Marie Academy is blessed with wonderful parents whose generosity of time, financial donations and equipment have enabled us to open our new buildings with many important "extras" not included in our original very limited budget. Heading the parents ' efforts has been Mrs. Terri Thomas whose tireless efforts and generosity have proved invaluable and to whom we owe a very special heartfelt "thank you."
