Rose Marie Academy, Easan Fabrique, and Nichada Plaza organized an “Esan Cultural Festival” as a way to promote Northeastern Thai culture to Nichada Thani’s residents and outsiders during May 28–29, 2016. The event featured loom weaving demonstrations, a Northeastern music performance led by award-winning reed mouth organ musician Mr. Chanaphong Pinyo, and an exhibition of thousands-year- old Ban Chiang pottery. Rose Marie Academy organized pottery painting zone for children along with Easan Fabrique’s artistic necklace making workshop. The event also offered a variety of quality products ranging from Akasha Farm’s organic agricultural products to other Northeast regional handwoven cotton and silk textiles, pottery for home and garden décor, and handmade products. Visitors enjoyed special offers from Villa Supermarket, Cherry Sweet Kitchen, and Emack and Bolio’s. The weekend sparkled with Northeastern music, crafts, and cuisine.
