The students of Grades one and two completed a unit on “India” for Social Studies. Children presented posters on topics such as Indian costumes, food, language, money, and the national bird, the Peacock, and the national animal, the Bengal Tigers. They invited students from Grades 3-8 to view their presentation. Children proudly presented their posters and spoke confidently on their topics. Khun Rose Marie and Khu Wanchai together with primary teachers had a wonderful time interacting with them and participating in henna and rangoli activities.
The highlight of the event was the Indian food tasting from samosa to gulab jamuns.
Well done Grade 1 and 2 students!.
