Primary School End of the Year Performance 2016
Rose Marie Academy’s Primary School production was a tremendous success—to quote just a few and all agreed that, “It was a show not to be missed!”
Grade Levels One and Two enacted the story of Snow White with a twist—a male Snow White instead of the traditional pretty and demure Disney character while the seven dwarfs were true to character as they “high-hoed” their way through the play. Parents and guests were treated to a surreal and strange treat as they participated in Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland, presented by Grade Levels Five and Six. Students breathed life into the colorful characters of the Cheshire Cat, the Mad Hatter, and the sleepy Dormouse! Jet’aime as the White Rabbit had the audience in splits, while the Red Queen’s angry outbursts stole the show. “Painting the Roses Red” by Grade Levels Three and Four was the final cherry on the cake.
Hats off to the efforts and perseverance of the teachers and staff of Rose Marie Academy’s Primary School for putting on such a wonderfully successful show.

The Junior High School students improvised two sketches for their end of year performance:
Act One, Hocus Focus, was about the difficulties of remaining focused on writing tasks when the learning environment is full of distractions and disturbances.
Act Two, What Now?, reminded us about the need to recycle waste materials such as discarded paper and plastic items.
