On November 26, 2014, Senior High School students embarked on a field trip to the Royal Thai Air Force museum as part of their science education experience. Teacher Bobby Veerathanongdech, accompanied by Teacher Alyson Whitaker, took the students on a tour of the museum facilities where students observed an array of aircraft types on display. Teacher Bobby introduced each aircraft to the students and discussed its role and specifications. This helped students to observe first-hand and identify the important control surfaces and features of airplanes which put into perspective their knowledge of the principles of flight that they had gained from a presentation earlier at school. Students were excited and had a wonderful experience as they could enter many of the aircrafts on display and even enter the cockpits. Moreover, they could appreciate the history of aviation and its vast development over the last century. Lastly, the Senior High School students indulged in the purchasing of aviation souvenirs to bring home.
