The Primary and Junior High School students enjoyed a field trip to the National Science, Natural History, and Geological Museum on January 25, 2018. All the students were enthralled with each of the museum’s exhibits, especially the interactive exhibits. The Junior High students were able to follow up areas of scientific interest they had recently studied and produced a poster display of their museum experience.
The Upper Primary students had many questions regarding the exhibits and returned with a greater understanding and appreciation for dinosaurs, electricity, evolution, forces, geology, insects, mathematics, thermodynamics — and much, much more.
The activity center just above the first floor afforded the opportunity for Lower Primary students to use their physical skills in play. Their enjoyment of the trip was captured in pictures and writing that were made into their own books about the field trip. Definitely, we would all want to visit the museums again!
