The Lower Primary students have been learning about weather. They have been studying wind and how it blows in different directions. Here the children are enjoying experimenting with weather vanes. For this experiment, the students made their own weather vanes using a pencil, paper, straw, and a pin. Each child had fun deciding whether the wind was blowing north, south, east or west.
Child Center’s latest community project is Share a Shirt where we invite students to donate unwanted T-shirts. Maybe the t-shirt has shrunk in the wash or maybe the owner no longer supports Manchester United but Liverpool. Whatever the reason somebody in need will happily receive a T-shirt.
