On December 15, 2017, Rose Marie Academy held the wonderful Talent Show event as the icing on the cake, capping off the last day of the semester before the holidays.
After regular classes in the early morning, the atmosphere became festive and charged as students prepared for their performances. Professional sound engineers and stage crew ran final checks as parents and other guests began to arrive.
Talent Show featured performances by the multi-talented students and teachers of RMA. Students from Child Center through Senior High School entertained the audience with singing, dancing, and musical performances. Through numerous coaching and practice sessions in their music classes together with their individual talents and dedication, the students impressed their peers, teachers, and their supportive parents. Flowers were in plentiful supply as members of the audience came to the stage to present them to the artists after each performance.
Apart from music, other disciplines in the Arts were showcased including a rendition of an astronomy lesson from a Child Center Student and a Taekwondo demonstration from primary students. The grand finale of the event was a musical performances by teachers.
Talent Show is not a competition. The music department of Rose Marie Academy encourages students to do their best and to entertain not only the audience but also themselves. Throughout the preparation process of this event, they are encouraged to exhibit teamwork, organizational skills, and support for others in order to promote unity and empathy. Rose Marie Academy is extremely proud of their students and the work they have put into their performances which impressed all.
Congratulations to all students and hope you will join the show next year!
