Students in Child Center started their new study by looking at the ways Rose Marie academy recycles waste. They then painted recycling boxes and sorted materials into correct boxes.
They made jewellery boxes for their mums using used plastic food containers and scraps of coloured paper and napkin rings from cardboard tubes.
They talked about saving water by not leaving taps running and turning off lights and aircons in empty rooms. The students discussed the importance of animals and talked about endangered species and how we need to ensure they have enough food and safe places to live.
Finally, they looked at pictures showing how other people recycle and help save our world. Central Department Store, Uniqlo and the rubbish collectors with their lorries.
