Shalie – Music Specialist
The Art & Creative Schools Fair was an exciting and innovative event. Our students were provided with an opportunity to showcase their art work and musical performances to a wider audience across Bangkok. We are grateful for this experience and thank parents, staff and, above all, the organizers, Mme. Astrid Amaya Gracia, River City, and the sponsors KPN Land for their support.
Finola Devahastin – Art Specialist
On Saturday, September 29, 2018, we joined on event called “Art & Creativity School Fair” where art work from many schools were exhibited including ours.
We also performed in our band, which I enjoyed. The most exciting part of this event was that two students from our school were selected to be MCs who were Kanom and me. I was quite scared before going up on stage. When I first stepped on the stage I was shaking, but after that I got used to it, and I began to have fun. The most challenging part for me was to improvise because we did not have a written script, only the names and the roles of each person. Also many things were changed at the last minute. Still it was a great experience.
Meek – Grade 9 SHS
Participating in this event was an interesting experience. It was my first time to perform and to be an MC in a public event. Being the MC was somewhat daunting at first; however, as I got more comfortable with it, I began to enjoy the role. It was sometimes hectic due to some organizational mishaps. None the less, it was a good experience.
